## Six fields on every card.

1. Name. The job, in the words a finance team uses.
2. Area. Which of the nine GAAPx Score areas it sits in: Spend, Billing, RevRec, Payroll, The Close, Budget vs Actual, Treasury, Controls or Reporting.
3. Complexity. Simple, Moderate or Complex. It sets which ways to work a card offers.
4. Who it helps. The role that carries the work today.
5. What the agent does. The steps the agent takes, and where a person reviews.
6. How you can use it. Do it yourself, Done with you, or Done for you. The card marks the best fit first.

## Use cases

### Overdue invoice follow-ups

- Area: Billing (contract to cash)
- Complexity: Simple
- Who it helps: AR lead, collections
- What the agent does: Reads your open invoices, drafts a follow-up note for each overdue customer in your tone, and groups the notes by who should send them. A person sends each one.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Do it yourself.

### Contract terms for revenue review

- Area: RevRec (revenue recognition)
- Complexity: Moderate
- Who it helps: Revenue accountant, controller
- What the agent does: Reads a signed contract, lists the terms that affect when revenue is recognized, such as delivery dates, usage terms and payment terms, and drafts a note for your accountant to check against your revenue policy. A person reviews every point.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Done with you. Also: Do it yourself.

### Deal desk review in Salesforce

- Area: Billing (contract to cash)
- Complexity: Complex
- Who it helps: Deal desk lead, legal, finance and operations leads
- What the agent does: Reads Salesforce opportunities that are not closing in the next 10 days, flags legal, operational and finance risk, and sends the flags to the people who decide, in Slack. A person decides.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Done for you. Also: Done with you.

### Close task roundup

- Area: The Close (month-end close)
- Complexity: Moderate
- Who it helps: Controller, close lead
- What the agent does: Reads your close checklist, asks each task owner for a status, and builds one list of what is done, what is late and what needs a decision. A person reads the list and chases what is left.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Done with you. Also: Do it yourself.

### Accrual support write-up

- Area: The Close (month-end close)
- Complexity: Moderate
- Who it helps: Staff accountant, controller
- What the agent does: Takes the inputs you give it for one accrual, such as the contract, the delivery date and the estimate, and drafts the support: the reasoning, the calculation steps and the open questions. An accountant reviews and edits the draft.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Done with you. Also: Do it yourself.

### Audit documentation pack

- Area: Controls
- Complexity: Complex
- Who it helps: Controller, internal audit lead
- What the agent does: Takes an audit request list, finds where each item sits in your folders, and drafts a response index with the gaps marked. A person reviews each item before it goes to the auditor.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Done for you. Also: Done with you.

### Invoice coding first pass

- Area: Spend (accounts payable)
- Complexity: Simple
- Who it helps: AP lead, AP clerk
- What the agent does: Reads an invoice, suggests the account and cost center from your coding rules, and lists any line it cannot place. A person confirms each suggestion.
- How you can use it: Best fit: Do it yourself.

## Nothing matches those filters yet.

A narrow filter can leave this grid empty. Clear the filters, or tell us the job you need.

## Pick the way that matches how complex the job is. (Three ways to work)

Some jobs your team can build with a good prompt. Others need a guide beside you. A few need a builder. Each use case says which.

### Do it yourself

See the idea. Build it yourself.

- Who it fits: A finance team with one person who likes to try AI tools, and a job that touches one system.
- What you get: The use case card and the steps an agent takes. For the simple jobs, a ready Claude prompt to paste in and adjust will come with the card.
- What you do: Build it, try it on your own data, and decide where a person reviews.
- Choose it when: The job is simple, one team owns it, and you want to start this week.

### Done with you

Guidance on the harder jobs.

- Who it fits: A team with a job that crosses systems or policies, and a person who can give it regular time.
- What you get: Our accountants and engineers beside your team. We help you draw the steps, set up what the agent needs to know from your Company Brain, and build the agent alongside you.
- What you do: Choose the process, share your policies and know-how, review what comes out, and make the decisions.
- Choose it when: The job spans several systems, some rules are still in people's heads, or you want your team to keep the skill.

### Done for you

We build the most complex ones.

- Who it fits: A leader whose team cannot spare the hours, with a job that has many parts or rules that belong to your business alone.
- What you get: We build the agent with your systems and your Company Brain, and show you each step and each point where a person reviews.
- What you do: Answer our questions, give us access, review what comes out, and make the decisions.
- Choose it when: The job is complex and your team has no time to build it.

Done for you is kept for the most complex jobs. A card says when we offer it.

Done with you and Done for you are CFOsquared services. Contracts are with CFOsquared Inc.

### Three questions, one answer.

- How many systems does the job touch? Do it yourself: One. Done with you: Two or three. Done for you: More, or systems that are hard to connect.
- Do the rules fit on one page? Do it yourself: Yes. Done with you: Mostly, with exceptions only your senior accountant knows. Done for you: No, or they are still unwritten.
- Who has time to work on it? Do it yourself: Someone on your team. Done with you: Someone on your team, with us beside them. Done for you: Nobody.

## Deal desk agent

Reads your Salesforce opportunities that are not closing in the next 10 days, flags legal, operational and finance risk, and sends the flags to the people who decide, in Slack.

A worked example of the kind of agent we build. It does not report a client result.

## A deal desk agent that tells the right people what to look at. (Worked example)

This page describes how the agent is designed. It does not report results from any client.

A deal sits in Salesforce with a close date a few weeks out. Nobody has asked legal about the termination clause, operations about the delivery date, or finance about the payment terms. By the time someone does, the quarter is nearly over.

The agent reads the opportunities, flags the risk, and sends each flag to the person who owns it. A person decides what happens next.

1. Pull. The agent pulls opportunities from Salesforce.
2. Select. It keeps the opportunities that are not closing in the next 10 days.
3. Check. For each one it looks for legal, operational and finance risk. Examples of a flag: a clause outside your standard terms, a delivery date that depends on another team, payment terms that differ from your policy.
4. Send. It posts the flags in Slack to the people who own each kind of risk. Legal reads the legal flags, operations the operational ones, finance the finance ones.
5. Decide. A person reads each flag and decides what to do. The agent's work ends at the flag.

### What your team controls.

In a build with us, you choose which opportunities the agent reads, what counts as a risk, and who receives each flag. Your policies can come from your Company Brain, so the flags follow your rules.

### Where it runs.

It is designed for Salesforce and Slack. We partner with both.

Bring the steps your deal desk follows today. We will talk through which way to work fits.

We partner with Salesforce, Box, Anthropic and Slack. We build on OpenAI, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake and Microsoft technology, so an agent can use what your company already runs.
